For an English project we had to find a piece of media that had religious imagery from either the Bible or the Qur'an, and my group chose 'Fallen Angel' by Alexandre Cabanel because it relates to the story of the fall of man from Genesis as well as from Paradise Lost, both of which we recently studied. My group gave me the job of recoloring the original painting rather than drawing it freehand so we could finish on time, but I'm quite proud of how the colors and textures came out. It almost resembles J.C. Leyendecker's work in a way :)
